Responsibilities

• Answer the hospital switchboard promptly and direct calls to the proper party or page staff.
• Greet visitors and staff courteously and direct them to the proper personnel while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and security regulations.
• Issue visitor passes to authorized persons and provide clear, concise instructions on hospital rules and regulations.
• Make appropriate overhead announcements promptly and accurately.
• Accept non-monetary donations, assist in moving them to appropriate areas, and record donor name, time, and donation details as applicable in the Security rounds log book.
• Accept monetary donations, deliver the sealed envelope to the Business Office, and record donor name, time, and amount donated if known in the Security rounds log book.
