Requirements

Loving kids and being reliable with the ability to swim is an absolute necessity!
Willing to certify in CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infants

Nice To Haves

Previous swim instruction experience is preferred, but not required.
Training in the Swimtastic® curriculum will be provided - just bring joy!

Responsibilities

The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Swimtastic® curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times.
Provide customers with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during Splash ‘N Tell week.
