About The Position

The Sweeper Janitor performs general cleaning, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, garbage hauling, and other assigned janitorial duties using appropriate tools for a factory setting. The role is responsible for dust abatement throughout the facility, including around equipment, building structural steel, and other specified areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Submit to and successfully pass a Safety Screen evaluating the ability to safely perform the position's duties and tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand or walk, push or pull, bend or stoop, kneel, crawl, or sit frequently.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 40 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Haul garbage.
• Perform other assigned janitorial duties using proper tools for a factory setting.
• Control dust throughout the facility, including around equipment, building structural steel, and other specified areas.
