About The Position

The Suspension/Lift Technician, also described as the Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technician (Service Specialist), oversees activity in the service and installation shop. The role ensures shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed, and shop inventory, products, tools, and equipment are maintained. It is a full-time opportunity with a family atmosphere, excellent pay, and potential for future growth. Compensation is listed as $35,000–$50,000 with bonus, as well as $18.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Valid state driver's license with a clean driving history.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or alignment tech is helpful for success.

Responsibilities

Oversee all activity in the service and installation shop.
Ensure shop safety guidelines are followed and paperwork is completed.
Maintain shop inventory, products, tools, and equipment.
Install lift kits on trucks and vehicle lifts, and install leveling kits and brakes.
Mount, balance, and install tires and wheels using tire mounting and balancing machines.
Perform alignments and light front-end work.
Place product and supply orders.
Organize delivered merchandise.
Identify and properly tag returned products.
Clean and maintain returned products.
Maintain an organized inventory system.
Control parts spending.
Lift and organize heavy products.
