About The Position
We are looking for an Electrical/Civil/Geomatics Engineering student to join the ATCO Survey team. This work term starts in Sept 2026 for an 8 or 12-month period in Grande Prairie or Lloydminster. Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian Polytechnic Institute.
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Electrical/Civil/Geomatics Engineering, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Establishes property lines, collects topographic features, and establishes 3rd party crossing and construction/design layout for distribution, transmission, and civil teams.
- Creates 3rd party crossing drawings and individual ownership plans to support the acquisition of land rights.
- Creates designed-based drawings showing the collected topographic field data in relation to our existing and new facilities.
