About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Akron, Ohio. The officer monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, identifies potential threats, documents events, and responds to incidents to help protect people and property. The role also involves conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, checking visitor identities, reviewing security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

This is a full-time, third-shift position with one of two schedules: Sunday through Thursday or Friday through Tuesday, from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.16. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.
