About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats before they escalate. The role involves observing screens, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, patrolling premises, controlling access to secure areas, and helping protect people and property. The position is located in Libertyville, Illinois, and offers a competitive wage of $21 per hour. Shift and days may vary. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in front desk security.
• Valid Illinois PERC.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• A state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in corporate concierge or customer-facing security roles is preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities
