About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and help protect people and property across multiple sites. The role involves observing screens in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, identifying potential threats, and responding to incidents. Officers must be able to work at least two shift times and at least 32 hours per week. Shifts are mornings (6:00 AM–2:00 PM), evenings (2:00 PM–10:00 PM), and nights (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), including weekdays and weekends. The hourly wage is $18.50. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Must be able to work at least two of the listed shift times and at least 32 hours per week.
• A valid driver's license and good driving history are required for driving positions; applicants must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
• Six months of security, military, or law enforcement experience is mentioned as a qualification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure premises are safe.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors' identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
