About The Position
A member of the CoxHealth Surgery Center team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Surgical Technologist performs technical and supportive functions to assist with patient care throughout the perioperative phase of hospitalization, following hospital and departmental standards, policies, protocols, and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or have 5 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain personal effectiveness while dealing with various personalities, skill levels, and rapidly changing situations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist.
