About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the OR Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, this position maintains the sterile field in the operating room, ensuring proper aseptic techniques are used to prevent contamination and infection. The role assists the surgical team as the sterile member who passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level and work under the stress of the operating room atmosphere.
• Emotional maturity, stability, and flexibility.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited CFA program.
• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting.
