About The Position

Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - Park Meadows is hiring a Surgical Scrub Tech. The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team. The role maintains a sterile field during procedures and prepares the supplies, instruments, and equipment needed for them. The position supports the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives, and goals and participates in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by the state and/or center.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
