About The Position

Work as a cohesive member of the surgical team and uphold and promote patient safety and quality. The role requires knowledge of a wide range of surgical procedures, the steps surgeons take to complete them, and the surgical instruments they may need. Use the instruments, medications, supplies, and equipment required during surgical procedures. Perform basic tasks such as transporting patients and checking medical charts and consent forms. Apply expertise in the theory and practice of sterile and aseptic techniques. Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and provide exceptional patient and guest experiences.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of surgical technology or have equivalent experience.
• Certification is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent prioritization skills and ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of surgical technology experience preferred.
