About The Position
This position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures utilizing established guidelines. Coordinates and Schedules surgical/medical procedures & resources. Accurately enters surgical data and generates surgical charges. Pre-admits patients, answers phone calls, and general clerical duties. This position will use organizational skills, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills when working with staff, physicians and physician offices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Customer service experience with multiple phone lines
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in scheduling surgeries and/or patient appointments for practices
- Surgical or Medical procedure knowledge
- Knowledge of insurance types and requirements
- Previous experience working with an EMR
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
