About The Position

The Supv Operations is responsible for executing the work needed to manage unit operations, including unit generation, scrubber operations, environmental emissions control, material handling, and some routine station maintenance. The role commits to work plans, executes plans and schedules, and provides oversight. Safety, environmental compliance, productivity, and quality are critical responsibilities, as is identifying and addressing workplace barriers. The supervisor communicates organizational plans and direction and manages employee development and performance for assigned personnel. The Supv Operations is often the senior leader on site, particularly at night and on weekends.

Requirements

Associate degree and at least 3 years of related work experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED and at least 7 years of related work experience.
Ability to be respirator qualified.

Nice To Haves

Strong computer skills, including the ability to use various applications.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of operating fundamentals and principles for generating station systems, equipment, and processes.
Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
Financial knowledge and skills, including the ability to analyze data.
3 years of previous supervisory experience.
5–7 years of plant operations experience.
