Supported Living Coordinator Santa Maria
About The Position
People Creating Success is hiring a Supported Living Coordinator for its Santa Maria region to coordinate services for adults with developmental disabilities. The role leads and supports quality assurance staff, program managers, and direct support professionals; oversees program compliance and service quality; and builds relationships with participants, families, staff, and community partners. The coordinator also supports participants with daily living skills, including cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household duties. The position is full-time and pays $55,000–$60,000 per year, with mileage reimbursement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in human services; experience with participants with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong relationship-building and maintenance, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and leading teams toward success.
- Warm, respectful, and professional demeanor.
- Strong de-escalation and redirection skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
- CPR/First Aid certification; training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need recertification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance in developmental disability services.
- Experience with participants with developmental disabilities.
