The position entails working within a support team in a day program/centre, community settings, or group home settings; assisting adults who may have physical, developmental, mental health issues, and/or acquired brain injuries. Applicants must possess exemplary communication skills, be compassionate and energetic, and be comfortable supporting individuals with various disabilities. The Canada Summer Jobs program duration is 12 weeks between June 1st to August 29 and requires applicants to meet the following eligibility criteria: be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
