About The Position

Dave & Buster’s Gaming Support Techs, also called Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the midway while contributing to a fun, welcoming environment. The role includes providing timely service, responding to Guest requests, maintaining merchandise and supplies, keeping games and work areas clean and organized, and performing scheduled game and general store maintenance as directed by management. Team Members work days, nights, and/or weekends as required in a noisy, fast-paced environment. The position requires moving around the facility, standing for extended periods, working from an extension ladder, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work from an extension ladder, move about the facility, stand for long periods, read and write handwritten notes, and lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.

Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain amusement equipment, games, simulators, and other technical equipment in a timely manner.
Assist Guests, answer questions, make recommendations, and provide a friendly and enthusiastic experience.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Notify a Manager about Guests who appear unhappy and promptly inform the immediate supervisor about significant problems or unusual matters.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable; and check and restock necessary supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of midway games, the tech room, and storage areas; ensure games are clean and unobstructed.
Set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance safely and efficiently as directed by management.
Assist with general store maintenance and support other Team Members as needed.
Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with other Team Members.
