About The Position

Support Staff are essential to the daily operations of Nirvana Cannabis’s dispensary. This hands-on, fast-paced role supports customers and the sales floor while helping ensure each guest has a smooth, compliant, and enjoyable experience. The position offers exposure to multiple areas of dispensary operations, including reception, floor support, and point-of-sale operations, along with training in compliance, customer engagement, and retail best practices. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented attitude.
• Reliability and attention to detail, especially with cash handling and compliance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain professional under pressure.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about the cannabis industry.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and integrity.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a positive first impression.
• Educate guests about cannabis products, strains, medicinal uses, and consumption methods.
• Verify customer IDs and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dispensary environment.
• Support teammates through clear communication and teamwork.
