About The Position
Perform a variety of instructional tasks and clerical duties in a classroom to assist teaching staff with the education of school students. The work requires occasional physical exertion and/or muscular strain. It involves several disagreeable elements and/or exposure to job hazards where there is some possibility of injury.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, plus one of the following: an associate or higher degree from an accredited college, 60 semester hours, or a score of 458 or higher on the Paraprofessional Test.
Responsibilities
- Perform instructional tasks in the classroom to assist teaching staff with student education.
- Perform clerical duties in the classroom.
Benefits
- $500 additional pay for 60 or more semester hours.
- $750 additional pay for an associate or higher degree, added to base salary.
