About The Position
Provide instructional, vocational, and developmental assistance to students under the supervision of a certified professional. The work can require physical exertion and/or physical strain. The work environment involves several disagreeable elements and/or exposure to job hazards where there is some possibility of injury.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- In addition to a high school diploma or GED, one of the following: an associate or higher degree from an accredited college; 60 semester hours; or a passing score of 458 or higher on the Paraprofessional Test.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience providing childcare services for children.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional assistance to students under the supervision of a certified professional.
- Provide vocational assistance to students under the supervision of a certified professional.
- Provide developmental assistance to students under the supervision of a certified professional.
Benefits
- $500 additional pay for 60 or more semester hours, added to base salary.
- $750 additional pay for an associate or higher degree, added to base salary.
