About The Position

Buck Mason is hiring a Seasonal Support Associate at its Fashion Island location. The associate provides customer service, supports checkout and payment processing, handles returns and exchanges, and helps maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor. This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of January 31, 2027. The stated pay range is $19–$20 per hour; total compensation may also include bonuses and other perks based on performance and dedication. The work schedule varies and may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Comfort using a POS system and handling basic computer tasks.
Strong math skills for accurate cash handling.
Strong customer-service skills and the ability to make customers feel valued.
Availability for a variable schedule that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with a welcoming, high-quality experience, including helping customers with waters and responding proactively to unexpected circumstances.
Operate the POS system and cash register accurately and efficiently.
Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor by folding clothes, straightening displays and racks, and replenishing products.
Process cash, credit and debit cards, gift cards, and store credits.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer by counting and balancing it at the beginning and end of each shift.
Bag or package customer purchases carefully and efficiently.
Create a welcoming first impression and a seamless checkout experience.
