About The Position

Buck Mason is hiring a Seasonal Support Associate at Fashion Island to help deliver a best-in-class customer experience and maintain an attractive, organized retail shop. The role includes assisting customers, operating the point-of-sale system and cash register, processing payments and returns, and keeping the sales floor stocked and orderly. The position is seasonal, with an expected end date of January 31, 2027. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour; the total compensation package may include bonuses and other perks based on performance and dedication.

Requirements

Ability to use a POS system and perform basic computer tasks.
Strong math skills for accurate cash handling.
Ability to make customers feel welcome and valued.
Availability for a variable schedule that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights or overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming customer experience, including helping customers with waters and responding proactively to unexpected circumstances.
Operate the POS system and cash register accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized sales floor by folding clothes, straightening displays and racks, and refilling products.
Process cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, and store credits.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.
Count and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Carefully and efficiently bag or package customer purchases.
Create a positive first and last impression for customers.
