About The Position

As a Support Associate at Soma, you work both in the back of the house and on the sales floor. You manage inventory processes that support a smooth customer experience, including processing shipments, moving products from the stockroom, and keeping the team informed about inventory needs. You uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team culture. The role is part-time at the Maine Mall Soma store in South Portland, Maine.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and tools.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to regular attendance to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Passion for the brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.

Responsibilities

• Properly receive, store, and ticket merchandise to support replenishment on the sales floor.
• Keep the stockroom neatly organized and easy to navigate.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented on the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Execute product restocking and price changes.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Assist store leaders with visual directives, including floor-set updates, window changes, visual presentations, and signage placements.
• Deliver a customer-focused experience that reflects the company’s culture of hospitality.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
• Keep the team informed about inventory needs.
