About The Position

Newmark’s Global Technology team is seeking an experienced Support Associate to make changes to data and drawings as requested by customers. The Support Associate consults with clients while preparing and presenting drawings; creates and distributes CAD drawings and standard reports; and maintains data and information. The role collects client requests and manages them through resolution. It requires CAD skills and the ability to communicate and interact with clients.

The position works with computer-assisted design and drafting equipment and software, including AutoCAD 2018, and handles space plans, test fits, data processes, production drawings, reports, and day-to-day activities for the computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) system and related technology. The Support Associate reports to the Director. Working conditions are described as normal, without disagreeable elements. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree and AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to work with the team to solve problems.
• Collaboration skills.
• Communication proficiency.
• AutoCAD 2018 Architecture.
• MS Access and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director.
• Uses computer-assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD 2018) equipment and software to develop designs.
• Works on space plans and test fits as directed.
• Manages data creation, collection, and loading in IBM TRIRIGA or ARCHIBUS.
• Creates and revises production drawings, including detail and assembly drawings.
• Works with clients’ business partners as needed to ensure accurate and effective information interfaces and updates.
• Produces standard reports and drawings in the client-required format on demand and maintains a resource library of current information for department access in IBM TRIRIGA or ARCHIBUS.
• Handles day-to-day activities of the CAFM system and related technology systems, including drawing and data maintenance.
• Maintains an organized file system for production drawings.
• Works according to standard operating procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
