The Supply Systems Analyst analyzes transactions/data to determine problem areas, assesses the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions, provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations, coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems, and researches potential functional problem areas. This role requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations. A thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions. The analyst will perform as the WMS POC, serving as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS, which can include identifying workload trends and proactively identifying potential issues. They will perform WMS transaction code inquiries and research and serve as the WMS system analyst as required. The role involves using WMS and other Government Data Systems.
