About The Position

TJFACT is seeking a well-qualified Supply Systems Analyst to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), in Albany, Georgia. This is a full-time onsite position supporting warehouse management operations through systems analysis, process improvement, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) administration. The Supply Systems Analyst serves as the primary functional resource for WMS-related activities, supporting warehouse operations by analyzing system transactions, researching operational issues, coordinating with functional users, and ensuring the effective use of Government supply management systems in accordance with contract requirements. Please note: This position is being recruited in support of a proposal effort. Any offer of employment is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), or an equivalent automated warehouse management system, within the past five (5) years.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply transactions and system data to identify operational issues and determine problem areas.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply system functions.
  • Assess the impact of proposed system, policy, and regulatory changes on supply operations.
  • Coordinate with functional users to resolve operational and procedural issues affecting warehouse operations.
  • Research and analyze potential functional problem areas to support continuous process improvement.
  • Apply knowledge of supply program relationships to conduct studies, reviews, and operational investigations.
  • Utilize a thorough understanding of supply policies and procedures to support the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and transportation of materials.
  • Serve as the Warehouse Management System (WMS) point of contact for the Government by receiving communications, responding to WMS-related inquiries, identifying workload trends, and proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Perform WMS transaction code inquiries, system research, and related system analyst functions as required.
  • Utilize WMS and other Government data systems to support warehouse operations and reporting requirements.
