About The Position

At Middletown Remanufacturing Center, part of Service Operations and Technology, in Middletown, PA, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. You will work as a Supply Chain Supervisor who contributes to the ensuring success of the performance within Supply Chain, by partnering with the different business areas to achieve goals related to our processes. The Supply Chain Supervisor collaborates with leadership to design and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement, organizational culture, and business performance. The successful candidate will focus on hands-on execution while also supporting strategic planning to support a thriving workplace environment.

Requirements

  • BA in Supply Chain Management (or a related field)
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain tools, plus strong skills in Excel and/or BI (Power BI or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of inventory management and a continuous improvement mindset (lean ways of working)
  • Leadership capability and strong team collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to turn analysis into clear actions and priorities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Maintain accurate records via cycle counting and stock reconciliations.
  • Implement best practices in material handling, layout, and storage.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Develop short- and medium-term production plans aligned to orders, forecasts, and capacity.
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Customer Service.
  • Monitor plan adherence and adjust schedules proactively.
  • Optimize batch sizes, changeovers, and resource utilization.
  • Serve as advocate between Planning and Production.
  • Lead and develop warehouse operators, material handlers, and planners.
  • Plan staffing, shift patterns, and task allocation.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set clear objectives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Own KPIs: inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, warehouse productivity, stock-outs, obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze performance data and implement corrective actions.
  • Translate supply chain strategy into action plans and improvement projects.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen).
