About The Position

The Supply Chain Specialist is a vital support role serving as a critical bridge between HQ, our 90+ locations, and our vendor partners. In this role, you will champion our "Shop First" mentality by ensuring an uninterrupted flow of food, beverage, and operating supplies across all shops. Combining meticulous data analysis with proactive relationship management, you will drive operational excellence, support New Shop Openings (NSOs), manage cost efficiency, and protect the integrity of the Cheba Hut brand.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supply chain management experience or Cheba Hut specific experience (restaurant, QSR, or food & beverage industry strongly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of food and beverage supply chains with a proven ability to manage high-volume data and multiple long-term projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Excel, Google Suite, project management software (Monday.com), and inventory reporting tools (prior experience with Sysco is a major plus).
  • A "Shop First / Customer First" attitude with a proactive, "heads-up" leadership style—always looking around the corner to solve problems before they start.
  • High integrity, team-oriented ("we" over "me"), and completely comfortable representing an iconic, marijuana-themed culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
  • Ability to work on a computer and communicate via phone/email for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to thrive and maintain focus under physically and mentally demanding operational situations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HQ point of contact for shops and franchisees regarding product availability, delivery issues, and approved substitutions.
  • Support NSOs end-to-end: build order guides, coordinate delivery schedules, verify items, and manage setup with distributor partners (Sysco).
  • Leverage shop-level operational insights to continuously refine and elevate our NSO supply chain processes.
  • Proactively monitor inventory levels and usage trends across distributor operating sites to prevent out-of-stocks and mitigate supply risks.
  • Partner closely with key distribution leads to track usage data and flag potential shortages well before they affect shop operations.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with food, beverage, and packaging suppliers.
  • Manage the sampling process for R&D product testing and hold vendor partners accountable to quality standards using a "Right Partner, Right Seat" philosophy.
  • Utilize Excel, Google Sheets, MySysco Reports, and Monday.com to analyze supply chain performance, track usage trends, and monitor product rollouts.
  • Perform routine pricing audits and track commodity market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without ever compromising quality.
  • Communicate supply chain updates, product rollouts, and LTO logistics clearly and proactively to internal teams and franchise operators.
  • Resolve daily logistical challenges, including product shortages, invoice discrepancies, freight damages, quality assurance issues, and credit requests.
