About The Position

Everyday Dose is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage the day-to-day execution of their supply chain operations. This role involves inventory planning, purchasing, production coordination, inventory reconciliation, and co-manufacturer execution. The supply chain includes overseas ingredient suppliers, domestic co-manufacturers, freight partners, and 3PL warehouses. The specialist will ensure materials are available for production, reconcile inventory, and follow up with suppliers. This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. The role is fully remote, with a hybrid option for Austin, TX-based candidates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, logistics, or a related operations role.
• CPG, food, beverage, or supplement experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and scenario modeling.
• Ability to build clean, formula-driven workbooks and planning tools without relying on hardcoded values.
• Experience coordinating directly with co-manufacturers, 3PLs, contract packagers, or similar external operations partners.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with inventory, production, supplier, and cost data.
• Exceptional follow-up discipline—you keep track of open items and drive them through completion.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple suppliers, production schedules, materials, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear, direct written communication skills and comfort working with both external suppliers and internal cross-functional partners.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes and systems are continuing to evolve.
• A hands-on mindset and willingness to dig into the details when inventory, production, or supplier information doesn’t tie out.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with FEFO, lot traceability, and food-safety documentation, including GMP, FSMA, SQF, and COAs.
• ERP or inventory management system experience, such as NetSuite, Cin7, Fishbowl, or similar.
• Experience working directly with food and beverage manufacturers.
• Experience supporting supplier scorecards, OTIF measurement, or supplier performance initiatives.
• Exposure to S&OP or structured production and inventory planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Run inventory planning across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, maintaining safety stock and reorder points.
• Support sourcing and purchasing activities, maintain pricing and contract information, monitor supplier performance and risk, and ensure open items are closed.
• Act as a day-to-day operational partner to co-manufacturers, aligning production schedules, materials, and inventory.
• Drive cycle counting, reconciliation, FEFO management, and traceability across co-manufacturers and 3PL locations.
• Maintain models, processes, reporting, and follow-up cadence for production and supply chain activities.
• Prepare inputs, run scenarios, publish outputs, and track follow-up actions for production planning and the monthly S&OP cycle.
• Build and maintain formula-driven, auditable planning models and run-rate tools.
• Partner with the Sourcing Manager on supplier negotiations through cost analysis, quote comparisons, and should-cost modeling.
• Keep contract and pricing records accurate and track expirations, volume commitments, and renewal dates.
• Track supplier OTIF and quality performance, support scorecard reviews, and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor single-source exposure, tariff changes, capacity constraints, supplier financial health, and other potential risks, maintaining contingency options.
• Identify aging and obsolete inventory early and coordinate escalation and disposition.
• Ensure 3-way invoice matching across suppliers and co-manufacturers and help resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as a day-to-day contact for co-manufacturer partners across scheduling, materials, and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain production schedules and confirm material availability ahead of every production run.
• Manage ingredients using FEFO principles across co-manufacturer locations.
• Track yield and scrap against standards, investigate variances, and help drive root-cause resolution.
• Ensure batch and lot traceability from raw materials through finished goods.
• Monitor production costs against standards and identify and explain variances.
• Execute inventory reconciliations and raw-material cycle counts across co-manufacturers and 3PLs.
• Own the disposal and write-off process, including documentation, approvals, and coordination with Finance.
