About The Position

Ale-8-One Bottling Company is seeking a self-motivated, driven Buyer/Planner. This position will be responsible for production scheduling, material ordering, inventory control, and sales order confirmations. Qualified candidates will be comfortable effectively communicating and working with various department supervisors to ensure that product is available to support sales while keeping operating costs down.

Requirements

2 years supply chain, materials planning or related field
Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Team player and works effectively to deliver results within cross functional teams
Strong written and effective verbal communication
Detail oriented and organized
Excellent time management skills
Strong problem solving skills
Strong analytical skills to present findings with well-supported data
Must follow PPE guidelines, as required.

Responsibilities

Establish manufactured finished goods production schedules that support business demands
Place material orders for packaging material and finished goods to multiple suppliers and ensure on time delivery
Partner with the Warehouse team to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of both raw and finished goods
Create schedules for transport drivers to deliver and pick up finished goods
Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain inventory records
Receive and manage finished goods orders from distributors
Maintain effective relationships with suppliers
