Supply Chain Services Specialist
About The Position
Regions Hospital’s Supply Chain team focuses on the effective and efficient use of resources to deliver the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time, to the right place throughout the hospital. The Supply Chain Services Specialist supports the Supply Chain Department by coordinating department medical supply and inventory needs, placing vendor inventory orders, troubleshooting purchasing and inventory issues, and distributing supplies and equipment throughout the hospital campus. The position is 1.00 FTE and works Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The salary rate is $20.94 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous experience in supply/inventory distribution and/or customer service is preferred; one year of post-secondary education may substitute for work experience.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and independently.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

- Technology literacy is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with hospital leaders and staff to ensure department medical supply and inventory needs are met.
- Place inventory orders with vendors via Lawson EDI.
- Troubleshoot purchasing and inventory problems.
- Distribute supplies and equipment throughout the hospital campus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
