Supply Chain Specialist
About The Position
The Boeing Company is seeking a Demand & Supply Chain Specialist (Associate, Experienced) to support Boeing Global Services (BGS) and provide technical expertise to the Supply Chain Management team for the Integrated Materials Management (IMM) program. The position is based onsite in Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be 100% onsite. The successful candidate will support supply chain systems and process work, lead inventory optimization and supplier sourcing initiatives, and use analytics to improve business processes. They will coordinate with program management and finance and collaborate with supply chain and technical engineering teams to align inventory planning with supportability, operational, and financial goals.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in supply chain, logistics, and material warehousing.
- At least 3 years of experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- At least 2 years of experience with supply chain process improvements.
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis.
- Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices.
- Experience in a role requiring strategic planning, such as asset or program management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Communication, collaboration, and customer-focus skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Support system implementations, training, reconciliation, and process improvements.
- Lead inventory optimization projects.
- Lead supplier sourcing strategies.
- Support KPI and metric reporting.
- Coordinate with program management and finance to align inventory plans with business and financial performance goals.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team and technical engineering communities to use insights for supportability and planning strategies.
- Use analytics capabilities to continue automating business processes.
