About The Position

Leidos is hiring a Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to work in its Albuquerque, New Mexico office. The role supports research and development across multiple projects by placing, tracking, and receiving orders for specialty hardware. The employee will join a team supporting the Directed Energy Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Associate degree, or high school diploma/equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using CostPoint or similar procurement systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to communicate with upper management.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a desire to help people overcome obstacles.

Nice To Haves

• Current/active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience and/or certification operating a forklift.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Accounting background with an understanding of cost allocations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Leidos technical staff and purchasing agents to place orders for materials and supplies.
• Handle multiple issues quickly and provide accurate information to staff.
• Track orders and provide delivery updates to technical staff and customers.
• Receive orders, notify purchasing of deliveries, and deliver materials to various locations.
