About The Position

Regions Hospital’s Supply Chain team focuses on the effective and efficient use of resources to deliver the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time, to the right place throughout the hospital. The Supply Chain Services Specialist assists the Supply Chain Department by meeting regularly with hospital leaders and staff to ensure department medical supplies and inventory needs are met; placing inventory orders via Lawson EDI with vendors; troubleshooting purchasing and inventory problems; and distributing supplies and equipment throughout the hospital campus. Other duties may be assigned.

The position is 1.00 FTE, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The salary rate is $20.94 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous experience in supply/inventory distribution and/or customer service is preferred; one year of post-secondary education may substitute for work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and independently.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Technology literacy is a plus.
