Supply Chain Intern
About The Position
The Supply Chain Intern participates in a structured rotational program across Planning, Operations, and Strategic Projects, gaining hands-on exposure to the end-to-end supply chain. The intern supports business-critical initiatives through data analysis, performance reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to demand and supply planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, logistics, and supply chain transformation projects. Working with supply chain leaders and functional teams, the intern develops analytical, operational, and business problem-solving skills. The internship concludes with a capstone project addressing a real-world supply chain challenge, with data-driven recommendations presented to leadership. It is suited to students pursuing a related degree who want broad exposure to supply chain operations and strategy.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in supply chain operations, logistics, planning, and process improvement.

Responsibilities
- Support demand and supply planning through data collection and analysis.
- Assist with forecast accuracy reporting and inventory performance tracking.
- Analyze customer demand, inventory levels, and service performance trends.
- Maintain planning dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Support master data maintenance and planning system updates.
- Assist warehouse leadership with inventory accuracy initiatives and cycle count analysis.
- Support transportation and logistics teams with shipment tracking and carrier performance reporting.
- Participate in operational process reviews to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Analyze warehouse productivity, order fulfillment, and service metrics.
- Assist with documentation and standard operating procedure updates.
- Support supply chain improvement and transformation projects.
- Collect and analyze operational data for business cases and recommendations.
- Assist with network studies, warehouse layout evaluations, capacity analysis, and process optimization projects.
- Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards for project teams and leadership.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and data-driven methodologies.
- Complete a capstone project addressing a real-world supply chain challenge and present recommendations to leadership.
