About The Position

Reporting to the Margin Management Manager, the Supplier Support Specialist is a key member of our Margin Management team and works closely alongside our Product Management, District Commercial, Sales and Supply Chain teams.

Requirements

University Degree or College Diploma in a related field and 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must have a strong organizational aptitude, be detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills
Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
Proven ability to effectively meet difficult deadlines and perform well under pressure
Must have strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Maintains vendor cost support through SAP software.
Coordinates with Margin Analyst to investigate margin issues related to cost support.
Proactively identify expiring supplier cost support contracts and work to reduce aged supplier support balances.
Coordinates with Product Managers and District Commercial Specialists to execute cost support strategies and contracts.
Assists with vendor rebates.
Audits vendor contracts to ensure compliance.
Create reports as required for Product Mangers, District Commercial Specialist and Sales Management.
Supports creation of training materials for the department.
Other tasks as assigned
