About The Position

The Supplier Support Analyst provides directional and technical support to Kroger suppliers, assisting them with account setup, item information entry, and submission for approval through the Kroger Item API. This role focuses on supporting best practices for item setup and enhancing the overall supplier experience. The analyst will also provide insights to internal teams, suppliers, and Kroger personnel, working closely with data quality, item setup, merchandising teams, and various technology partners like Kroger Technology and Digital Team, Syndigo, Salsify, and 1WorldSync for system support. The position requires professional representation of PL Marketing to Kroger company members and suppliers, and involvement in special projects as needed.

Requirements

4-year degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience in Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Capacity to learn multiple computer systems and web-based applications
Understanding of Kroger item setup
Skill and diplomacy in communicating with people
Capability to collaborate with others and contribute effectively to a team
Expert organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively via email or Teams call to problem solve with Kroger suppliers in the setup of accounts or items
Create and maintain documentation for processes and frequently asked questions
Help to provide insights to internal teams, suppliers, and Kroger personnel through an understanding of the business need
Work with data quality, item setup, merchandising teams and suppliers
Work with Kroger Technology and Digital Team, Syndigo, Salsify, and 1WorldSync for system support
Professionally and effectively represent PL Marketing with members of the Kroger company and suppliers
Assisting in any special projects as needed
