About The Position

Nestlé Purina’s Human Resources team works to attract a diverse pool of talent and support associate growth and development. The Supplemental Workforce team provides leadership, expertise, and resources to source external talent. The Supplemental Workforce Specialist supports people leaders in developing and executing supplemental labor strategies and serves as a subject matter expert in external workforce engagement, administration, compliance, recruitment and selection, and utilization strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience.
At least 3 years of experience in HR, contingent staffing, or sourcing.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a vendor management solution, such as Fieldglass.
Experience in a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Provide full life-cycle recruitment strategies for the external workforce, including supplier relations and proactive recruitment strategies.
Partner with Procurement to improve quality, achieve cost savings, and strengthen supplier relations.
Execute HR functions for the external workforce, including wages, data changes, separations, contract extensions, and external hires.
Maintain day-to-day relationships with external workforce suppliers, manage contingent workers who are onboarded, and hold vendors accountable to agreements and deliverables.
Support leaders with performance issues and escalations involving agencies.
Create a positive and seamless engagement experience for external workers.
Screen contingent worker candidates and present the best-qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Proactively communicate pending worker end dates with line managers to align on next steps.
