About The Position

Tower Deli & Grill is seeking a dependable, hard-working Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations. The role supports both front- and back-of-house operations, helping the team stay on track, keeping service running smoothly, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The supervisor must be available to work at least three shifts per week, with AM or PM shifts and weekend or holiday availability. The listed PM shift is 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Requirements

Experience working in a restaurant or food-service role.
Comfortable taking on a leadership role and helping a team stay focused.
Friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and at least three shifts per week; weekend or holiday availability is required.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Food handler’s permit, or willingness to obtain one.
Must pass a background check.
Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

Oversee shift operations across the kitchen, cash register, and dining area.
Assist with sandwich preparation, food running, preparation, and cleaning as needed.
Help open and close the restaurant using checklists and ensure everything is in order.
Support the team during busy periods and help keep staff on task.
Address basic customer concerns and help ensure guests leave satisfied.
Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and operating on schedule.
Help train new employees and support current staff.
Monitor inventory and supplies and notify the manager when stock is running low.
Perform other duties as assigned.
