Supervisor, Retail Sportsbook
About The Position
The Supervisor, Retail Sportsbook oversees sportsbook cashier operations and ensures transactions comply with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations. The role monitors wager activity, maintains the sportsbook vault, manages cashier drawer bankrolls, and supports sportsbook kiosk performance and basic maintenance. The supervisor handles escalated guest disputes, reports issues and operational concerns to management, and helps train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff as assigned. The position also enforces standard operating procedures, maintains a visible presence throughout the sportsbook, and provides timely, outstanding service to guests and employees. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Ohio State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years’ experience with cash handling and sportsbook betting experience preferred.
- 1+ years’ ticket writer/cashier experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Sportsbook cashiers and ensure transactions follow Company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Monitor all monies being wagered.
- Approve or deny guest wagers in conjunction with the Risk and Trading team.
- Maintain the Sportsbook vault.
- Conduct sweeps and bankroll increases on cashier drawers as necessary.
- Monitor kiosk performance, conduct basic maintenance, and support the customer experience.
- Handle escalated guest disputes in the Sportsbook.
- Report issues and discrepancies to management immediately.
- Advise management of operational concerns.
- Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned.
- Enforce the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain high visibility throughout the Sportsbook.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to guests and fellow employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
