About The Position

The Supervisor Production is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. The role requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. This position supervises a group of personnel performing somewhat identical and related tasks or activities, and oversees processing operations while working with other supervisors to solve problems. The role also includes communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members, supporting their development and well-being, and providing continuous education about quality. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position is based in Monett, Missouri, works 2nd shift, and requires 1–5 trips per year.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to supervise a group of personnel performing somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
As a People Leader, ability to drive responsible AI adoption, enable effective use of approved solutions, identify opportunities to improve team performance through AI, and ensure accountability for AI-supported outcomes.

Nice To Haves

Education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, or college courses.
Prior supervisory experience.
Poultry experience.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
Ensure every position is filled before the production line starts.
Oversee Team Member exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
Ensure machinery is performing to the highest standard possible.
Ensure all workstations have passed USDA inspection.
Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding.
Know and communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
Encourage Team Members and help build an effective team.
Perform human relations functions, including training and retention.
Counsel Team Members on personal and professional problems.
Oversee processing operations and work with other supervisors to solve problems.
Keep records of reworked or returned product.
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality.
Perform other responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, safeguard sensitive information, follow company policies, and validate AI-generated outputs.
