Requirements

Associate’s Degree from a recognized college or university OR Seven (7) years of healthcare experience in a laboratory/Hospital setting.
3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

MTA - Medical Technologist Certification
CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification

Responsibilities

Designing and managing the work activities related to specimen collection, processing and/or customer service and related clerical responsibilities.
Organizing plans and directing operational processes, staff scheduling, workflow, human resource issues, staff development, monitoring resources, and productivity for all lab support staff including specimen registration, test ordering, collection, labeling, receipt, processing, delivery and archiving.
Overseeing the performance and quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility.
