About The Position

Veho is hiring a Ground Operations Supervisor in Tampa, Florida. This hands-on leadership role works day-to-day with Warehouse Associates and Leads and is responsible for developing warehouse staff through coaching, training, and support for future growth. The supervisor establishes operational standards and leads the team in accordance with Veho’s values. The role oversees accurate reporting and scheduling, cross-functional communication, and efficient, safe processing of sort and launch packages. The supervisor plans and prioritizes team and business initiatives, assesses operational needs, supports continuous improvement, and helps ensure on-time delivery and a positive experience for customers, clients, driver partners, and employees. The anticipated schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. Minimal travel is required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and demonstrate quick thinking and physical agility.
Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as operational needs require.
Ability to stand for the duration of a shift; move boxes with frequent bending; and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and in an environment with loud noise and fumes.

Responsibilities

Coach, train, and develop warehouse team members and Leads.
Plan and prioritize team and business initiatives, including continuous-improvement efforts with identified milestones.
Assess operational needs and coordinate cross-functionally to maintain seamless, safe operations.
Help ensure on-time delivery and meet or exceed expectations of customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees.
Schedule shifts according to business needs, operational hours, and projected volume.
Lead the team using values-based leadership to achieve operational KPIs and metrics.
Maintain accurate reports and support cross-functional communication.
Ensure sort and launch packages are processed efficiently and in accordance with safety standards.
Work hands-on in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.
