About The Position

The Supervisor, Distribution leads distribution personnel as a team to ensure safety, quality, packaging, receipt and shipment standards, and operational goals are attained. The position ensures work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures and leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower-level professional associates. The role involves developing and managing the distribution department budget, improving site infrastructure and equipment, and building maintenance performance metrics and staff capability.

Requirements

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Generally requires 5 or more years of experience in a related field.
• May require certification.
• An advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, productivity, and quality across all distribution operations.
• Design, develop, and manage the distribution department budget.
• Refurbish and enhance site infrastructure and equipment to support growth and achieve site objectives.
• Develop maintenance performance metrics and train staff in their use to optimize performance and return on investment.
• Ensure associates have the tools and training necessary to do their jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
