About The Position

The Supervisor, Distribution supervises multiple departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. The role provides direction and motivation to warehouse associates while ensuring safety, productivity, and quality. It leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower-level professional associates and ensures work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor warehouse associate productivity and balance workloads to meet production and delivery goals.
Provide training, tools, and equipment to help warehouse associates complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Ensure warehousing functions run smoothly and serve as a point of contact for escalated issues.
Identify process improvements to enhance distribution center performance and departmental effectiveness.
Evaluate distribution center alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
Ensure associates maintain clean work areas and follow company safety policies and procedures.
Complete appropriate paperwork and productivity reports.
