About The Position

The supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day functioning and coordination of the Mobile Primary Care Van service. This includes supporting clinical providers, clinical duties as assigned, program development, operations, and evaluation; working closely with internal and external partners to facilitate successful program delivery; assuring data is collected required, and that Community Medicine goals are met.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in community program administration and leadership.
  • Proven record of partnering with community and government agencies.
  • Experience leading a team either directly or indirectly.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
  • Two years’ experience in program administration, program leadership or coordination, etc. required.
  • Public speaking, group facilitation and excellent writing skills required.
  • Access to personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evening/weekends as needed.
  • Strong working knowledge of community, state, and federal programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to relate and manage people like and different from self.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and make community presentations.
  • Skill in collaborating with community and government agencies.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in public health preferred.
