About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Security Officer – Response. The role varies by day and special event and may involve customer service, patrols, or surveillance. The guard must adapt to changing assignments while helping protect people and property at sites in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula, California. Applicants must be fully flexible and available any day of the week and for day, swing, or overnight shifts as scheduling needs require. A 90-day probationary period applies. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Hold a state security license and complete the additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings; additional training may be obtained during hiring.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a CPR certification; it may be obtained during hiring.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Be fully flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure security.
