About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Super Flex Security Guard for varied assignments in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula, California. The role is described as casual Security Officer – Response work, with duties that may change depending on the day and any special events. Assignments may include customer service, patrols, and surveillance, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly.

Applicants must be available any day of the week and for day, swing, or overnight shifts as scheduling needs vary. The position pays $19–$33 per hour, depending on the site pay rate. A 90-day probationary period applies. GardaWorld provides uniforms at no cost and offers career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Hold a state security license and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a CPR certification; it may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
