About The Position

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring multiple Summer Students on a temporary basis for onsite work in Regina, SK. This is a summer employment opportunity where students can enjoy a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors, at one of Canada’s largest refining and upgrading facilities. The Maintenance Relief Students are responsible for carrying out a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks that support the overall operation of the Refinery Complex. Candidates must be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Students must be currently enrolled as full-time post-secondary students and returning to their full-time post-secondary studies in the fall.
• Honest and trustworthy, results oriented and believe in collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are desired.

Responsibilities

• Lawn care, maintenance of sprinkler systems, weed control, hand excavating and general landscaping.
• Cleaning units including oil spills and utilizing pressure from hydrant water hose.
• Performing general site cleanup/organization, housekeeping and tool maintenance.
• Painting activities.
