About The Position

This paid internship provides a comprehensive introduction to industrial sales and wholesale distribution, along with the opportunity for a full-time Industrial Sales Trainee position after graduation. The internship is 10 weeks long, from May 21 to July 31. Interns will gain real-world industrial sales, and distribution experience with exposure to an industry that powers critical infrastructure across the country. Eastern Industrial Supplies is a trusted multi-state distributor of pipes, valves, fittings (PVF), and commercial plumbing products with locations across SC, NC, FL, GA, TN, and AL.

Requirements

• Rising senior pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• August or December 2026 and May 2027 expected graduates should apply.
• Interest in industrial sales and distribution.
• Comfortable working in a distribution center environment.
• Strong team player with attention to detail and a drive to learn.

Nice To Haves

• May 2026 graduates will also be considered if they are interested in a full-time Trainee position in August when the internship ends.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience in operations (receiving, order processing, shipping).
• Complete safety, forklift, and ERP/database training.
• Shadow inside and outside sales teams, retail counter reps, and learn sales processes.
• Work on a strategic business initiative and present findings to our Executive Leadership Team.
